BIRMINGHAM – Weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will make concrete pavement repairs beginning Sunday, Dec. 2, at approximately 6:30 a.m., on I-59 South between the Lloyd Nolan Parkway Exit (Exit 119, MP 118.99) and the bridge over Crawford Street (MP 118.93).
- The inside left two lanes and shoulder will be closed in the referenced location while repairs are being completed.
- This operation will be for one day. All travel lanes will be reopened to traffic no later than 6:30 p.m.
Motorists are encouraged to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this maintenance operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
