JEFFERSON COUNTY – Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a shooting in the Forestdale area.
At about 5:00 pm this evening Deputies were called to the 1000 block of Inzer Drive to investigate a shooting complaint. They arrived to find a 33-year-old male suffering critical injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Early information from the scene is that the victim was out walking his dog when a white Chevrolet Impala pulled up. The victim spoke to the front passenger who them shot him. The vehicle fled the scene and the area is being searched.
