BIRMINGHAM –Police are on the scene of a shooting at Linn Park in downtown Birmingham.
A 65-year-old man sustained life threatening injuries in the shooting, according to ABC 33/40. The shooting occurred around 8:15 p.m.
This was the second shooting incident of the day in Birmingham. At about 3 p.m., two people, including a 16-year-old male, were shot in the 2700 block of Avenue C in Ensley.
Both of the people in the earlier shooting were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
