From the Trussville Tribune Staff Reports
TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) recently held a ribbon cutting to announce the re-grand opening for one of its chamber members. Regions Bank is located at 193 Main Street in Trussville.
The ribbon cutting was held on Dec. 14. The location has been open from a temporary location next door while renovations took place. The branch now has video banking, where you can talk by video with a Regions Bank professional. The Trussville branch is one of only about 20 that have this service among
Regions branches.
Renovations for the bank were announced in May. Renovations include a 24-hor lobby, which customers can access with their bank card. Once inside, they interact with representatives via live video.
“This renovation is the culmination of extensive planning as well as close work with the City of Trussville to ensure our renovation will support and enhance the ongoing redevelopment of the downtown area,” Leroy Abrahams, North Central Alabama Area President of Regions Bank, said.
The exterior of the building was updated, and inside the teller lines were replaced with an open layout, where customers will be greeted by Regions Universal Bankers.
“We have been carefully planning this renovation for a long time,” Brandon Greve, Consumer Banking Executive for Regions in North Central Alabama, said. “We are excited to move forward, and we look forward to unveiling a completely redesigned, more modern facility that will reflect our continued commitment to quality service and technological innovation.”
