BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after an incident on Sunday in the 1200 block of Bessemer Road at the CC Nightclub.
At 9:04 a.m., officers responded to the above location on a person shot inside the nightclub. Upon arrival, the victim was found lying on the floor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to Princeton Hospital, where he later died.
Preliminary investigations indicate the victim was approached by an unknown Hispanic male while in the club and was subsequently shot. The suspect and his girlfriend fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The incident is still under investigation.
