TRUSSVILLE –The fans fell silent when Hewitt-Trussville’s Peyton Horn was strapped to a board after he suffered a concussion in the third quarter against James Clemens High School. But there is a chance he could return to action by the first round of the playoffs. That depends on how he fares while following the concussion protocol.
Huskies head coach Josh Floyd said there no spine, neck or back injury associated with the injury that sent Horn to UAB Hospital as a precaution. Horn will remain under the watchful eye of team trainers and doctors until he is cleared to play.
