BIRMINGHAM –The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a fire warning for eight counties in west and central Alabama, including Jefferson and Blount counties. The warning is for Saturday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Outdoor burning is not recommended and could be potentially be very dangerous due to a dry air mass producing low humidity and breezy conditions.
