BIRMINGHAM –A stabbing in downtown Birmingham sent a woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Birmingham police.
The attack occurred about 5 a.m. Friday morning two blocks west of the Alabama Theater on 16th Avenue North between 2nd and 3rd avenues.
According to the Birmingham police, a suspect, who they say knew his victim, is in custody.
