GRAYSON VALLEY –A shootout between two groups of males in the Grayson Valley Townhomes sent two males to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Just after 4 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a report of shots being fired in the 2400 block of Hampstead Drive in Grayson Valley. They arrived to find two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation at the scene revealed that two groups of males were arguing from within two different cars. The two groups began shooting at each other and the victims were struck.
Two people are being questioned about the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Omg!! My husband saw the police activity and called me. I rushed home because my son gets off the bus around the same time. It looks like one of the cars was abandoned on Brewster Road. They appeared to be looking for a gun as well.
