CLAY – A photo began circulating social media shortly after 7 a.m. Friday morning depicting three Clay-Chalkville High School students riding in a truck with a flag on the back that reads “F U PV.”
Clay-Chalkville High School and Pinson Valley High School are playing the annual rivalry game Friday night.
CCHS Principal Michael Lee said he has already identified the students and “they are being dealt with.”
He released a full statement on his Twitter account:
I would like to apologize publicly to Mr. Turner, Coach Glover and our friends in the Pinson Valley community and at PVHS. The behavior of a few of my students this morning is certainly not indicative of the type of student body we have at CCHS, nor does it represent the standards of commitment, character, honor and service that we expect of all of our students. We have enjoyed a long-standing positive relationship with all of you, and the lack of judgment show this morning is embarrassing to both me and the Clay-Chalkville Community.”

That was a classy parade my kids and I drove by on the way to school

Annnd it’s necessary to plaster it on the social media page because?!?!?
Jeff Waite
Stay Classy Clay-Chalkville…. As usual.
Brandy Hill
The parade itself wasn’t bad it was this flag and the vulgarities being yelled out of a different truck that caused a problem.
Justin Mcculley
Umm I don’t think they should have put the nasty classless pic on here just saying.

are you this desperate for news????? or this desperate to make CCHS look bad???

If it’s any consolation, they were in Chick-fil-A this morning talking about it. They talk just like their flag, and I enjoyed listening to their ignorance or arrogance I should say directed towards the police. Classy, educated kids! Smh

Maybe it shouldn’t be “all over social media”; however, it is our job, as adults, to teach young people that there are lines that are no OK to cross. When they do cross them, there are consequences. Their actions reflect negatively on the school and the community in which they live. Just my opinion

They’re high school kids. We all did dumb things at that age. Thankfully social media didn’t exist when most of us were in high school.

Those without sin, cast the first stone. Although I don’t agree with this sign, I’m pretty sure those who are talking so badly about these kids, know someone who act/acted just like this in high school. The only difference is that we didn’t have social media back then to plaster our wrongdoings on. This is completely inappropriate to put on social media. Talk to the kids. Let the parents handle it. And go on with the day. Good grief!!!

This post is a joke. how many people can be offended by one picture? It was a joke that was a little wrong. But everybody on social media has to voice what they find wrong. We apologize for it. We will not be flying that flag tonight. Get over it. It’s done. Everybody have a nice day in clay/pinson go Cougars

Was your child riding? From your picture you seem to be related to Pinson. So tell me how this involves you??? You say it negatively involves the community of which we live in? Are you apart of that community? From what I can see you’re not. So all this being said for you to spread the problem and make it some big ordeal only makes it worse. You yourself play a role in the ‘negative reflection’ of a community.

I love how people want to criticize that others are “soft” just because they would love to go through life with a little tact and respect shown by the rest of the world. If you think showing respect is soft then that’s part of the problem in my opinion.
Anne Snider Steward
Dumb is one thing, sitting in a restaurant where an older classy woman is eating alone, andvysing every profanity in the book as well as directing derogatory remarks towards law enforcement officers who many I know, is another thing. I didnt act so disrespectful at their age around adults. They really do not care and frankly I blame the parents.

Seriously guys, it’s just a handpainted flag that kids are flying to show school spirit. Until it becomes a problem of vandalism or physical assault, why even bother? Get your giggle and move on. There are plenty other things to worry about.
Tyler Jones
We’re kids and we’re having fun. I can guarantee y’all that there are kids out there that are doing worse than flying a “profane” flag that doesn’t even have a profane word on it. What they won’t tell you is we were safe. We didn’t hurt anybody. We went a safe speed.
Kendra Bess Moore
I bet their parents are proud
Kristine Jones
Did your parents know everything you did when you were a teenager?
Kendra Bess Moore
My goodness all you kids and ppl that think this isn’t offensive is ridiculous. Have tact about yourself. You will be in the professional world one day and this will NEVER be acceptable. Teach this generation how to have respect while still supporting your team. It’s sad all the people that think this is okay. This generation as a whole is desensitized to the value of respect.
Joey Bailey
Maybe they’re fans of Furman University
Julie Hammett Seidel
YES!
Kristine Jones
Totally agree
Kendra Bess Moore
All the more reason these kids need to be taught respect. There are more consequences to our actions than ever before. It prevents acceptance into schools, job hiring and more. Social media is a platform that can be used for good and bad.
Kristine Jones
I’m 43 years old and I agree that the flag was inappropriate but the reaction to this is ridiculous!!! There are so many things that happen everyday that are much much worse. This picture started out on another Facebook site this morning and had now made it to this page along with a story. This should be between this boy and his parents. Neither one of them need our judgement.
Kristine Jones
Dana Lardent I am 43 and I still hope that mine didn’t!
Betty Hadley
Are you eat up with the dumbass too?
Ashley Knight Thimaras
Classy.
Dana Lardent
Oh, so you were SAFELY telling them to “FU”.
And actually I DID post on the Clay site that y’all were not driving badly.
It was poor judgment. Own up to it and accept that folks are going to have their opinions.
You were free to make the decision, you are not free from the consequences of said decision.
Dana Lardent
Kristine Jones same! (But 45)
Kendra Bess Moore
Kristine Jones agreed. But it doesn’t need to be condoned. Don’t say it’s not offensive because it is. Our kids need to be prepare for a successful future. Employers and universities look to social media so now our actions have more consequences than ever before. We all have to be our own PR managers. That’s the message. Students don’t do dumb things bc one dumb thing can impact you more than you’ll ever know. It will blow up and hit so many outlets in a matter of minutes.
Laura York
It’s ridiculous and inappropriate, but these are kids. Glad Facebook wasn’t around to broadcast all my stupid moments in high school. With that said, I hope their parents see this and address it appropriately.
Allen Long
If they broke any laws they should have to face the consequences but I don’t see what good it does to advertise it all over social media other than to give the community a black eye.
Kristine Jones
This is my child Dana. He did not have that flag. He flew his American flag and state of Alabama flag.
Dana McCaslin Thorn
Pathetic display of disrespect, hatred, and very unsportsmanlike behavior!! People like that shouldn’t even be allowed to go to the game!
Dana McCaslin Thorn
Really?!? Very sad that you consider this kind of very disrespectful behavior to be “fun”!!
Kristine Jones
I’m not condoning or saying it’s not offensive. I do think this is an over reaction though.
Kendra Bess Moore
Kristine Jones I don’t. It’s a bad reflection and representation of the school and of the parents of these kids. Everything we do impacts more than just ourselves. Lesson to be learned.
Dana McCaslin Thorn
School spirit?? Giggle?? Seriously?? That kind of attitude is part of the whole problem!! Pathetic!
Jeff Jessen
Classy.
Kathy Sills
I hope Pinson beats them..go indians
Lay Dean James
You all that are defending these kids are the same exact people that defend their child after a robbery or drug deal gone wrong or some other crime being committed now I will say that I did do some stupid stuff growing up and my parents wasn’t aware of it but nothing to this nature for the fact I had respect for myself and would have been embarrassed for someone to tell my parents I had done such a thing but more importantly in my day parents were parents they would have beat my ass and I most certainly wouldn’t have went to the game and my vehicle woulda been sold grow up be parents and show your kids what respect is there are ways to have a rivalry without acting the fool
Tyler Jones
Yeah folks that shouldn’t even be involved are gonna get butt hurt about it. If the pinson students would’ve gone flagging their would’ve been flags like this aimed at clay. If this flag was more profane maybe I’d understand. It says “F U” it’s not terrible. Y’all people just gonna find something to jump on us about when really it’s not that harmful and not yalls business. Y’all must be really bored to just jump on a bunch of kids like this.
Drew Hall
There are more sports than just football buddy.
Dana McCaslin Thorn
AMEN!!
Aimee McMurry
The students at Pinson couldn’t. Their principal threatened them all with Class 3s if they did. When I went to Pinson we enjoyed doing it. Just be more thoughtful with your flags forreal… I don’t see a big problem with it, but other folks will b
Shannon Harris
Clearly this post is referring to a football game tonight.
Dana Lardent
Kristine Jones gotcha. Thanks!
Kristine Jones
No we are not those parents. This is not illegal activity. It was a flag that had the abbreviation for a bad word on it. It was inappropriate and in poor taste. That’s it. No reason for it to be posted all over Facebook and for people who have no clue about it to run their mouths about a kid and his parents. And no its not my child. This is just ridiculous.
Dana Lardent
Dana McCaslin Thorn don’t dissect everything. The flag trolling was fun. The ONE flag was unacceptable.
Justin Wood
Who cares?

I agree
Dana Lardent
I don’t think it was all that. It just went over the top. The flag trolling is funny and all in good fun.

Sunny Taylor Love
Right….because this sign definitely compares to a robbery or drug deal…please…..
Christina White
So FU is ok now? It’s ok for these kids to put that on their flags?
John King
Reading the comments especially by one of the involved students n his mom saying no one has the right to comment on the situation because they’re not involved well the kids involved everyone by driving on public streets flying the flag
Lay Dean James
I’ll tell you this I was in the parking lot this morning and I seen it and if my seven year old had seen it I most likely would had to explain or discuss it the fact that it’s on fb is good because maybe it will embarrass the kids and their parents yes it might be a breviation but it’s still the fact that it affects others and it’s a embarrassment to the school maybe these kids just got a lil to much time on their hands and secondly I’ll say it again the parents shoulda been aware of this
Dana McCaslin Thorn
Dana Lardent, that’s what the original post and thread is all about!… the one disrespectful and unacceptable flag! I and others here don’t have a problem with flying flags in general to show respectful school spirit, obviously.
Lay Dean James
And you are correct that it wasn’t a crime but I’ll say this every crime or behavior starts with a action
Christina White
So glad my kids don’t go to that school. Classy? Not in a million years!
Layne Welch
Derrick Willis
Lacey McCormack
Wow..
Christina White
Actually, as sad as it is, some parents are commenting supporting this behavior and the lettering.
Shannon Harris
Any predictions on the score tonight?
Kendra Bess Moore
Christina White I know. See my next post. That’s what it was all about. The sad part about that is they are only hurting them for the future. As for me and my child, we will learn, know and express respect.
Christina White
Yes Lay Dean James!!!!! Thank you!!!
Michael A Thrash
Must not be a busy news day. So what? Trash talking has always been a part of sports. Can’t handle it? Don’t look at it lol it’s that simple
Kristine Jones
I don’t think writing the abbreviation for a bad word on a flag leads down the road to criminal activity. It was in poor taste. It’s not the end of the world. There are worse things going on in every community. No one seems to get as worked up about those things.
Christina White
Omg yes!!!! Thank you!!!!
Ron Cobb
Please don’t paint with such a broad brush. There are plenty kids at CCHS who do well and make good choices. There are are too many kids in all schools who are making poor choices. Both are reflections of parenting (oops – did I just use a too broad brush).
Kristine Jones
Oh yes. All the classy kids go to the other schools. Give me a break. It wasn’t our school that got rolled and spray painted with profanity on the 1st day of school.
Michael A Thrash
Dana McCaslin Thorn can you tell us exactly in your own words what is wrong with the flag?
Lay Dean James
Yea I got a tiny brain and again you all are the ones that we see on fox six news defending their child how great their child is and how they was fine upstanding children
Dana Lardent
Allen Long well, they were advertising the flag. It’s not like it was being snuck around….so I fail to see why it matters that it’s on social media….it was paraded in real life.
What good does it do? This presents a perfect opportunity to teach valuable lessons. We, that are older, can say things like “in these days with social media the way it is”….these kids didn’t really have days before social media. THIS has been their reality and there is no going backwards. It’s a great opportunity to for them to learn to consider their actions and the consequences that come along with those actions. Perfect opportunity for them to realize that everybody has a camera and to be mindful that they don’t behave in ways that they don’t want seen….by everybody.
In this case, the kid obviously wanted to be seen. I don’t necessarily think he’s a bad kid (I don’t know him)…..the worst thing I will say is that he (or they) made a bad decision with that flag. If this bad decision helps them learn a lesson and make better decisions in future…..I think that’s a good thing.
Experience is the best teacher, harsh, but the best.
Katelyn Gibbs

Dana Lardent
Yes, I’ve done worse. So I should lower my expectations for my own child.
Makes sense.
Derrick Willis
Lol tooo funny
Kristine Jones
What gives you the right to judge this kid or his parents? I have said several times that it was inappropriate and I did not condone it. He broke no laws. It was poor judgment on his part and I can guarantee he is facing the consequences for it.There has definitely been an over reaction to this “news” story.
Dana Lardent
I have to believe that CCHS’s “school spirit” is a little more elevated than saying “FU” to the other team.
Matthew A. Watkins
I’m not telling anyone how to raise children.
Joseph King
F U!
Joseph King
Does that hurt your feelings?
John King
I did not judge the action now did I ?What I said, if you care to reread, is when the kids pulled this stunt on public streets they brought the public into it so that gives anyone the right to comment on it
Kristine Jones
If you are referring to my posts not one of them say anything about supporting it. I have said several times that it was inappropriate. I will say all of this over reaction is ridiculous. The kid wasn’t driving drunk down the road endangering anyone. He didn’t knock off a gas station. I can give more examples of things he wasn’t doing that are illegal. He used poor judgment by putting FU on his flag. It may be offensive but it’s not illegal. There’s no reason this should even be a news story.
Wendy Baker
Don’t you start lol
Dana Lardent
Tyler Jones would you tell your mother to “FU”? Since it’s not that terrible and all….
(No need to answer that.)
Colton Hill
Lol I thought about going.
Kristine Jones
Very well put Dana Lardent!
Drake Riley
Well, that’s appropriate
Kendra Bess Moore
Kristine Jones oh no I wasn’t referring to your post. I was just referring the opinion I expressed in that post.

Over reaction to this story???? Do you really think if the tables were turned the reaction wouldn’t have been the same?

You can lose the “you all” if you are referring to me with your last comment.
Cheryl Strickland Stell
If foul language is the only way people can express themselves it doesn’t show that they have a very big vocabulary
Dana Lardent
Aimee McMurry the English teachers need to use the opportunity to have some fun vocabulary lessons: how to be clever when dissing.
Kristine Jones
Cheryl Strickland Stell I assume you mean if a kid from Pinson had a flag flying that said fu cc? I would have thought it was bad judgement just like I think this was. And if it made it to the news I would still thinks it’s an over reaction. This wasn’t illegal. It wasn’t during school or a school activity. I’m sure he is sorry and I think it should be between him and his parents. I would not have let my child fly that flag. But it is not my place to judge someone else’s parenting.
Cheryl Strickland Stell
Allen Long then maybe they should have done something a little more constructive with their time and especially their mouths in Chick-Fil-A.
Lay Dean James
Well if you defend this behavior then the shoe fits
Sunny Taylor Love
Well, you would be wrong if you think I would defend my child for bad behavior. Heck, i once told a police officer to take my son to jail when he was caught drinking underage. But i stand by my previous comment….
Brooke Byrd Garrison
I am disappointed that this was published. I have always loved the tribune. This has a negative impact on the kids who did not have profanity on their vehicles. You are casting a negative shadow on our community. I don’t remember their being articles about Trussville kids producing shirts that made fun of one of our CCHS football players that died or the vandalism at Pinson. Maybe I missed those. By reading through these comments you can see your article did nothing but negativity impact one of the communities you serve.
Kristine Jones
Calling it inappropriate is not defending it. And that’s what it was.

It’s not like they actually used the word. I saw them this morning while I taking my child to school. A cop pulled them over on 75. No idea what the cop said. They all stopped in the church parking a lot. And, I as I was coming home they were all leaving the church parking lot. I am pretty sure the cop told them this was inappropriate. And, that they needed to remove the flag. Cause we all know what it meant. High schoolers are going to have fun. I will tell my kids won’t be riding in the back of a truck. That is more dangerous than anything. Everyone should be concern about their kids safety not what a flag says. Do iagree with what was on the flag no. But, it is what is….. So I think everyone should let it go. We have all made poor choices in high school. And also as parents.
Paige Park

Christina White
No. No I didn’t. I was disciplined if I even thought about doing something like this. My main concern is the children in the area that was reading it. Not all kids are in high school.

When we were in school mr. Laney would have revoked our game day privileges if we had anything resembling any kind of fowl language, including “FU”. I see Mr Lee is punishing those involved. These kids need to think before they go out and do this again, because, as I have seen in some of the comments, young children had to witness this as well. That would infuriate me as a parent. Flagging is fun, but not when it’s making the community uncomfortable.
Kristine Jones
My son was one of the flaggers. Not the one with the inappropriate flag. They were all pulled over and the deputy told them what not to be doing and to be safe and sent them on their way.
Kristine Jones
Also, I agree. It’s time to let it go. Everyone makes mistakes.
Dana Lardent
Alex Horton he’s not allowed to go to a game because of his own actions and display of profanity.

I will say, that I saw it all as I was driving my daughter to school this morning. I thought the whole idea was hilarious. It’s a shame that that ONE flag changed the event into something it wasn’t intended to be. But I thought it was all in good fun.
In the bigger scheme of things, this can serve as a great lesson about actions, consequences and boundaries. I hope the parents 1. Don’t make a bigger deal out of it than it really is. 2. Don’t downplay it and lose a wonderful teachable moment.
Megan Parker
Can someone explain to me how the exact same flag was flown for the Hewitt game last year but there was not a word said bashing this kid and their parents?
Ray Woods
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes Alex Horton
Alyssa Kathleen Edge
Kristine Jones I am glad all the kids and your son are fine. Safety has been a big thing to me this past year. 10 years ago I was one of those kids standing in a back of the truck but I didn’t go to any of the schools around. Lol well good luck on the game. I pulling for the Cougars!!!
Kathy Carlin
I hope Pinson students have more class than this! If these were my kids they would be in serious trouble!
Dana McCaslin Thorn
Alex Horton , people like you need to learn there are consequences for your actions! That is unbelievably poor and unsportsmanlike behavior on their part, so they are getting exactly what they deserve by not being allowed to attend the game! Grow. Up.
Kristine Jones
Alyssa Kathleen Edge I was behind them on Old Springville road this morning and they were all driving so slow! I have told mine several times no one rides in the back of his truck.
Kristine Jones
Tjo Johnson, the kids that did this has been disciplined for his actions. If you don’t know your facts then don’t say he had no consequences.
Nate Arkitek Nite
Uv was part of the rally lol she literally showed me the pick then I scrolled on this post while I was looking at her phone bahhahaha

Sad that they can’t think of a way to say it without profanity!

Don’t you start!!
Kristine Jones
I guess nobody posted that one on Facebook last year or gave the tip to the Trussville Tribune to make a bigger deal of it than it was.
Megan Parker
Thank you! This was all blown completely out of proportion. Someone saw it and got offended and decided to take their concerns to Facebook. People need to understand that Facebook is not the place for everything. If you see something that offends you then move on, stop trying to cause an uproar to entertain yourself.

Pure Trash !!! Where are the parents ?? They should be expelled from school!!
Brooke Byrd Garrison
Dana Lardent I completely agree with you in every way! My son has worked all week on his flag. I remember being a kid. So many fun things and memories to be made in school. We should be grateful these kids are in school showing school spirit. In just a few years life is going to come at them fast! There are always going to be issues from someone. I hope it’s a good learning tool for everyone.
Dana Lardent
Kristine Jones are you going to the game?
Kristine Jones
If schools started expelling kids who use profanity they are not going to have many students left. The flag was inappropriate and he shouldn’t have flown. He is being punished. But expulsion would be going way overboard.
Kristine Jones
Dana Lardent I am going to the game tonight.
Cheryl Strickland Stell
Kristine Jones I Never judged anyone’s parenting not one time. I have seen too many Great parents whose children still make bad choices. I hold the teens responsible for their decision to put that on the flag. If it didn’t have something like it did on it I have no problem with them driving by with a flag. Why can’t they keep it clean?

Good point in a world dominated by social media–kids like to be all over social media, but not in the way these kids were today. They apparently wanted to be seen by everybody, and yet not have this seen on social media. But you can’t have it both ways. We don’t really get to choose anymore which of our actions will end up on social media, so if you wouldn’t want it seen on social media, don’t do it out in public. If that lesson can be learned that early in life, then maybe that will save some heartache later on.
Megan Parker
Calling for this kid to be expelled is a little extreme. I know him personally and he is a great kid. He is a member of the honor society and has never had a disciplinary action the entire time he has been in school. There is profanity on the flags every year, it just so happens that this year was the only year it has been broadcast on social media. Please keep your comments to yourself unless you have a personal relationship with this student.
Ken King
I’m sure the intent was actual English.
Ken King
There was, quickly.
Debbie Richardson Conner
I actually liked the flag parade except for the one flag. It was in good fun except for that.
Debbie Richardson Conner
Dana, that was perfect.
Debbie Richardson Conner
Brooke, I wish there were hearts for responding to comments. Yours was great.
Drake Riley
Betty Hadley I find your comment funny/hypocritical as your profile picture is the 10 Commandments.

As I read the comments that are pro and con regarding this shenanigan, it makes me wonder if all those who feel the students should be put before a firing squad are as perfect and pristine as they are trying to be. Yes, the students used poor judgement in displaying the flags with questionable letters or designs on them. Yes, they should probably be disciplined. From what I understand, that is being handed. I am sure the parents of the students will come down the hardest on them for this. I certainly hope that none of the Pinson Valley students EVER get caught doing something they shouldn’t. I have seen and heard about things that Pinson Valley students have done in the past. I don’t recall if the pranks were put before the public judge and jury, though. But lest we forget, nobody is perfect. This needs to be given a rest. It is now old news.

Wow real classy CCHS. Bet your parents are proud

You go Megan Parker!! Tell um!!!
Cindy Isbell Cosper
Agreed
Erin Kinnaird
It was a stupid idea, but it’s not like they waving their genitals around in public. It’s typical, idiotic high schooler behavior. Let’s not turn this in to something bigger than it really is.
Erin Kinnaird
Thank you, Matthew A. Watkins!! No one was actually hurt by this and yet it’s blowing up like the kid flashed the crowds his junk or something.
Anthony N Brooke Dobbins
If Pinson did something like this we would be on national news, cause Pinson is “terrible”…. lol
Erin Kinnaird
FU has ALWAYS been ok since it doesn’t spell out the dreaded, offensive, big daddy cuss word of them all. If it makes you feel less triggered, you can pretend that the F is for fudge.
Erin Kinnaird
Wish there was a love button for this!
Erin Kinnaird
So none of y’all cuss as adults? You never cussed as kids or teens or college kids?
Matthew Harmon
Stay classy, Clay-Chalkville!
Matthew Harmon
Worst part of that pic is not the flag. I better not ever find out my kids were riding in the back of a pick-up. That’s just dumb. Especially when I’m sure the driver is an inexperienced teenage driver.
Brooke Byrd Garrison
Actually, the student who did this has excellent parents and family. Kids do things without thinking sometimes. Thankfully this is why God gave them parents, to correct them and teach them. Sometimes kids have to learn the hard way. I’m sure this is the case. I think this has been drug into the ground and I’m sure he has gotten earfulls all day. This article has been shared 114 times in just a few hours. This is a kid we are talking about. All kids make mistakes and I know as a parent I wouldn’t want the whole community airing it out. And yes, I’m sure he now understands what happens when you chose to go out in public representing your school in a negative way.

Lol

Congrats to Pinson!!!!!
Dana Lardent
Erin Kinnaird not painted on a giant flag waving from the back of my truck while driving up and down a highway in school traffic. Nope. No ma’am. Never.
Dana Lardent
Tell me. I was the one that posted it on the Clay site…I didn’t post anywhere else. I wasn’t trying to cause an uproar or entertain myself. My comment about it was that the flag trolling was funny but that flag went too far. I wasn’t even particularly offended.
What I am finding to be beyond ridiculous is how many are saying “it doesn’t belong on Facebook” as opposed to “that shouldn’t have happened in the first place”. If it was acceptable to be paraded down our streets, then it certainly is acceptable for Facebook.
If it shouldn’t be on Facebook, it shouldn’t be done in public.
Dana Lardent
I will say…..for the few moments I saw them, they were driving carefully and below the speed limit. They were not being reckless.
Dana Lardent
Experience is a harsh, but excellent, teacher.

Not cool or acceptable…

Very well said!! This did not happen on school grounds and so to chastise the school or other student is inappropriate. The students involved are actually good kids just made a poor decision there is no reason for the comments in social media to continue calling them names and judging them as I am sure you have also made bad decisions in life in one form or fashion. I feel this article needs to be deleted.
Brooke Byrd Garrison
Carol Alexander Carter I completely agree!
Carol Alexander Carter
Very well put Megan!! The kids involved are all good kids!
Carol Alexander Carter
This incident did not happen on school grounds!! Theses are actually good kids just poor decisions I bet you have all made bad decisions or mistakes in life and we are not judging you all over social media. The cops spoke with the kids that should be as far as punishment goes as the law sees fit not the school or everyone’s opinion.
Carol Alexander Carter
They were not on school grounds so no it should not be up to the school!! They mad a bad decision I bet you also have made mistakes and or poor decisions in life. They did not cause harm to anyone.
