IRONDALE – A man was shot in Irondale around 1:30 p.m., according to al.com.
The shooting occurred at Fulmar Drive and Elder Street, according to Irondale police Det. Sgt. Michael Mangina.
The victim drove himself to Birmingham in a silver Ford Taurus after being shot at by “several men on foot.”
The victim was taken to UAB Hospital after driving to the Shell station on Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard. He was shot in the leg, and his injury isn’t believed to be life threatening at this time.
