TRUSSVILLE –According to Niche, Trussville is the tenth best suburb in Alabama to live in. Several neighboring communities made the list, as well.
Clay hit the rankings at number thirty-five and Pinson checked in at number fifty. Also making the rankings were Irondale and twelve and Grayson Valley at sixteen. Springville was twenty-seven, Center Point came in at forty-one, and Palmerdale was forty-third.
According to Niche, the 2016 Best Suburbs to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area at the suburb level. This grade takes into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area.
At the time of analysis, the database contained records for 8,729 suburbs. Of the suburbs that met the required qualifications, Niche was able to grade 8,729 and rank 6,963.

Sara, we’ve lived here almost 30 years and the traffic has been horrific the entire time on Hwy 11 and North Chalkville Rd. No matter what they do, it never seems to help. Just have to find ways around it.

Don’t mind the traffic myself.I just don’t understand why some of the cars going on Chalk Ville. Road towards Wendy’s don’t realize that they can turn right at the light and go down to Green Drive and not set so long in traffic.You can even go on over to Service Rd when It opens back up and save time.
