PINSON – The Alabama Department of Transportation has announced the closure of north and southbound lanes on Highway 75 from milepost 10.3 to milepost 11.7, weather permitting.
Work will begin August 1 and conclude August 5. From 8 a.m.-5 p.m., the three miles north of Pinson near the intersection of Clay Palmerdale Road will be closed to install asphalt pavement near the new entrance of the Birmingham Northern Beltline.
Motorists should use extreme caution in the area during the listed times. Emergency vehicles should use alternate routes, and other motorists should consider alternate routes as well, adjust arrival and departure times and also follow work zone speed limits and other signage accordingly.
