TRUSSVILLE –Wells Fargo on Chalkville Road in Trussville was robbed Thursday morning by a white male wearing black T-shirt and black hat at about 9:45 a.m.
The suspect left the scene of the robbery in a white vehicle driven by a second suspect, according to police lieutenant Jeff Bridges.
“The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note,” Bridges said. “When he left the bank, he entered the passenger side of a white vehicle waiting in the parking lot.”

Bridges said the suspect took the note with him when he fled the bank.
It is not known how much money was taken in the robbery.
The robbery remains under investigation and the story will be updated as more information becomes available.
