CARROLLTON –Charli Parker’s husband, Jamie Parker, has been booked into the Pickens County Jail for having sex with a student. Jamie Parker is a teacher at Pickens Academy, as well as the men’s basketball coach.
Jamie Parker is charged with having sex with a former female student.
Charli Parker was arrested and released after posting bond for the same charge. Jamie Parker remains in the Pickens County Jail at this time, and there is currently no bond set.
According to WCBI, Charli Parker, 30, is now charged with 11 counts of a school employee having sex with a student.
District Attorney Chris McCool says the allegations related to Charli Parker involve one male student and did not take place on school grounds.
The investigation is ongoing.
