BIRMINGHAM –A three-vehicle crash at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, has claimed the life of one man. The crash occurred on Interstate 459 just south of Birmingham city limits.
Schylar Keath Reynolds Freeman, 25, was killed when the 1993 Nissan 240 SX he was driving collided with a 2002 Acura MDX driven by Ryan Thomas Lisenba, 18, of Hoover.
Freeman’s Nissan was then struck by a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 17-year-old of Vestavia. Freeman, of Pell City, was transported to UAB Hospital where he died at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday. Lisenba and Smith were not injured.
According to information on the Birmingham-Southern College website, Freeman had been a former basketball player for the school.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
