TRUSSVILLE –The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a wind advisory for Jefferson and St. Clair counties from 4 p.m. Sunday until 4 a.m. on Monday.
You may have have noticed the breeze already picking up early Sunday afternoon and despite partly sunny skies, we’re still expecting heavy rains after midnight. Some of the wind gusts that will accompany the front could reach 35 mph.
Take a few minutes to make sure any outside Christmas decorations are secured or bring them inside if they can’t withstand high winds.
