TRUSSVILLE – State Senator Shay Shelnutt will be visiting across Alabama Senate District 17 to connect with constituents and hear their insights and concerns according to a press release. Beginning Thursday, Aug. 27, Shelnutt’s ‘Budget Listening Tour’ will make four stops across the western portion of his Senate District.
Shelnutt will kickoff the tour Thursday morning in Trussville and will be joined by State Senator Slade Blackwell (SD15) and State Representative Danny Garrett (HD44) at the Trussville event.
The event is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at Cracker Barrel at 4710 Norrell Dr. Trussville, AL.
Shelnutt will hold three other events as well. He will be at Cracker Barrel on Fieldstown Road in Gardendale on Sept. 3 at 8 a.m. In Oneonta at Miller Soda Shoppe on Sept. 10 at 8 a.m. Shelnutt will close the tour in Ashville at the Ashville City Hall on Sept. 17 at 8 a.m.
