TRUSSVILLE — Construction began Friday on a new orthopedic facility in Trussville, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
Alabama Orthopedic Spine & Sports Medicine Associates broke ground Friday at 1801 Gadsden Highway, according to the BBJ.
The two-story, 33,868-square-foot facility will house examination rooms, medical imaging, physical therapy space and a first-floor pharmacy. A same-day procedure room will be housed on the second floor, the BBJ reports.
TurnerBatson Architects is serving as the architect of record.
The exterior will feature rugged stone and brick, while the interior will have state-of-the-art medical technology.
Construction is scheduled to be complete by next fall, according to the BBJ.
