TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Public Library’s summer reading program was a “huge success,” according to Director Emily Tish.
The library circulated more than 111,633 items during the combined months of June and July, according to Tish. There were 1,358 children, 264 teenagers and 114 adults registered for the summer reading program.
The total library attendance for June and July was 66,558, with a total of 3,353 people attending 43 programs. The library’s 39 teenage volunteers worked more than 1,104 hours combined.
The Trussville Public Library is located on Parkway Drive in Trussville.
