CLAY — A flag football game scheduled for Saturday, July 19 will benefit a Clay-Chalkville High School graduate with Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.
The tournament will benefit the impending treatment and surgery for 2011 graduate Trey Belvin.

The tournament is being hosted at Clay-Chalkville High School, put on by The Darrin Reaves Foundation, a new foundation created by former Clay-Chalkville and UAB running back Darrin Reaves, now a member of the Carolina Panthers.
The 7-on-7 format games will be played at the fields at Clay-Chalkville Middle School and anyone can participate.
Special guests will be coaching, playing with and playing against the high school football players and other people from the community.
Players expected to participate are UAB senior tight end Kennard Backman, UAB senior defensive end Diaheem Watkins, Alabama redshirt junior linebacker and former Clay-Chalkville standout Tyler Owens, UAB redshirt junior athlete Darius Powell and Carolina Panthers quarterback Joe Webb.
Pre-registration for the tournament is $5. Registration on the day of the tournament begins at 10 a.m. Games begin at 11 a.m.
