TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council last week approved a nonexclusive franchise to Bright House Networks for the maintenance and operation of a cable system in the city.
According to the approved ordinance, Bright House Networks desires to provide cable television service in the city of Trussville. The agreement grants Bright House a nonexclusive franchise to provide that service and conduct operations.
The agreement is for a five-year period with potential renewal for an additional five-year period. Trussville will receive 5 percent of what Bright House makes as part of the agreement.
