TRUSSVILLE — Citing “continued growth,” the Trussville City Council last week declared a third polling place for municipal general, special and runoff elections.
NorthPark Baptist Church at 5700 Deerfoot Parkway will be the newest polling place in Trussville.
Trussville City Hall on Main Street has been a polling place since it was constructed in 1959. It will continue to serve as the polling place for absentee ballots cast in municipal general, special and runoff elections.
First Baptist Church of Trussville on North Chalkville Road has been a polling place since 2004.
The approved resolution cites “continued growth in the area” as the reason for the Jefferson County Board of Registrars establishing a third polling place in Trussville.
