TRUSSVILLE — “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” child actor Luke Bigham allegedly pushed his mother down some stairs Tuesday night, leading to a charge of third-degree domestic violence, according to Trussville Police Chief Don Sivley.
Sivley said Bigham was arrested by officers at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday.
Sivley said Bigham’s mother complained of pain but did not seek medical attention at the time of the incident.
He is currently being held in the Trussville City Jail on a $1,000 bond.
Bigham is set to be in Trussville Municipal Court on Wednesday, July 16 at 4 p.m. in connection with a five-vehicle crash on Main Street in Trussville last month.
Bigham, who played 10-year-old Ricky Bobby in the movie, was charged with reckless driving in the June 4 accident. Bigham turned himself in to Trussville police June 5 and was released on $1,000 bond.
