TRUSSVILLE — Nightly lane closures along Interstate 459 will last through the week beginning tonight, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.
The Trussville Police Department posted the announcement on its Facebook page.
In the Irondale and Trussville area, the northbound left and center lanes will be closed from Grants Mill Road to the U.S. 11 interchange in Trussville.
Crews will pave along that five-mile segment between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., ending Saturday at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
ALDOT urges drivers to use caution through the work zones and plan for possible delays.
