PINSON — A Pinson Valley rising senior infielder recently made his college commitment.
Baker Hodge committed to play at Calhoun Community College in Tanner.
Hodge primarily plays third base and pitcher for Pinson Valley. He said it felt like home at Calhoun Community College and he really likes the coaching staff and campus.
Hodge projects as an infielder at the college level.
“Just blessed to be able to go play at the next level,” Hodge said.
Hodge has been a table-setter as the leadoff hitter for Pinson Valley and has accumulated many clutch hits in his career.
Pitcher Brent Stephens, who graduated from Pinson Valley High School last month, signed to play at Calhoun Community College earlier this year.
