TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Baseball Association’s all-star teams recorded a clean sweep last weekend, claiming championships in five age classifications.
At Trussville’s All Star Classic, 44 teams participated in four separate brackets, with Trussville winning all four. 
Winners included 6U American (head coach Butch Cole), 8U National (head coach Bobby Wright), 11U National (head coach Pat Smith) and 12U National (head coach Pat Coyne).
In Homewood, 12 teams competed in the 7U age group, with Trussville’s 7U National team (head coach Chad Durden) winning the championship.
All Trussville teams began Metro pool play last week.
