TRUSSVILLE — The Conservative Christians of Alabama announced that the organization is endorsing Joe Freeman in the race for the Alabama House of Representatives District 44 seat.
The Conservative Christians of Alabama endorse candidates that are proven to stay strong in their Christian faith and stand firm on conservative principles.
John Killian, a member of the board of directors for the Conservative Christians of Alabama and president of the Alabama Baptist Convention, said Freeman, of Trussville, is a man of strong faith and has a track record of fighting for the conservative cause.
“He will serve the people well in District 44,” Killian said.
Freeman said he was humbled to have the organization endorse him.
“We must fight to keep our Christian values in Alabama,” he said.
Two other Trussville men, John Amari and Danny Garrett, are running for the seat. District 44 includes Clay, Pinson, Trussville and part of northeast Jefferson County.
The primary election is June 3.
