MONTGOMERY — Secretary of State Jim Bennett is reminding Alabama citizens the deadline to register to vote for the upcoming June 3 primary election is May 23.
To make sure citizens are registered to vote, to view a sample ballot, get information on voting an absentee ballot, or find their polling place, voters may visit Alabama’s official election website at www.alabamavotes.gov. 
Voters may also locate polling places and find out more information about their registration status by contacting their county board of registrars.
Voters who have moved need to update their voter registration information with the county board of registrars so they may cast a regular ballot in their correct polling place for this election. The deadline for those updates is also May 23.
