SPRINGVILLE — A Springville man will face off against two others on Saturday night’s episode of “BBQ Pitmasters” on the Destination America cable channel.
John Coon, who attends church in Trussville, is part of the House of Q team.

In Saturday’s episode, three top grillers compete in the wild card competition of the season. Coon will battle against New Yorker Howard Daley Jr. from “DTS BBQ” and Jeff Petkevicius from “Give it to God.” The teams will have to pull out their best recipes to impress the judges and for a shot at the $50,000 grand prize.
The show airs at 8 p.m. Central time.
