TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City Council last week approved of awarding a bid for computers to be used by the Trussville Police Department to CDW for $49,635.83.
Trussville City Councilman Brian Plant said the computers and software will be used for access to the National Crime Information Center.
Plant said that without the computers and software, the police department wouldn’t be able to gain access to the important data the NCIC offers.
The city council also voted to allow beer and wine to be sold at the Cahaba River Crawfish Boil on April 12 and several merit increases for city employees.
