TRUSSVILLE — Twelve Paine Intermediate School students earned medals at a Science Olympiad competition at Jacksonville High School last month.

Sean Dareeau and Bobby Stanberry took third place for Food for Thought. Also earning third-place medals were Caleb Hickman and Judson Upchurch for Weather or Not.
John Patrick Campbell, Barrett Willingham and Stanberry placed fourth for Triple Play. Sophia Peterson and Kennedy Maddix took fourth place for Deep Blue Sea.
Ethan Wilson and Derek Marshall placed fifth for Space Invaders.
