TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club recently named its Don Haisten Student of the Month for February.
Carlos Orellana, a senior at Clay-Chalkville High School, is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and is an AP Scholar. Orellana is one of 14 students from his graduating class of 293 who has earned the title of Honor Graduate with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 or better for the 2013-2014 school year.

Orellana was voted the senior class secretary this school year and is also a member of HOSA and the National Art Honor Society. Orellana recently began work at Whataburger as an after-school job and he volunteers at the Birmingham Zoo. He is a library office aide at Clay-Chalkville High School.
Orellana was presented a certificate of recognition and a gift card donated by Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
