TRUSSVILLE — A furniture store will soon occupy the former Old Navy store location at the Colonial Promenade at Tutwiler Farm shopping center in Trussville, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
Memphis-based Royal Furniture will open a Trussville location and at the former Books-A-Million in Hoover, according to the BBJ.
The store plans to open this summer, according to a press release from Shannon Waltchack, who represented Royal Furniture in its expansion into the Birmingham market.
Royal Furniture will take 22,000+ square feet at the Trussville location, which is owned by The Kroenke Group based in Columbia, Mo.
The Trussville and Hoover stores are expected to open within days of one another around the first of June.
Royal Furniture features furnishings for living room, bedroom, dining room, and home office, as well as entertainment and accent pieces, mattresses, appliances, and electronics.
