GRAYSON VALLEY — A pedestrian has been struck and killed in Grayson Valley, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 6:15 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a car in the 5600 block of Chalkville Mountain Road near Grayson Valley Drive.

Deputies arrived to find a woman had been struck by a car.
Center Point paramedics responded.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Her identity has not yet been determined.
The investigation is ongoing.
