PINSON — A man is dead after a crash on Narrows Road in Pinson, not far from Alabama Highway 79.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Randy Christian said deputies were working the wreck at about 9:45 p.m. approximately 300 feet from the highway.
The investigation revealed that a male driver was traveling east on Narrows Road when he crossed the center line and struck a vehicle head on, Christian said.
The female driver and two small children in jump seats in the other vehicle were not injured, Christian said.
The male was pronounced dead on the scene, Christian said.
No other information was immediately available.
